Adrien Gygax - Prix des lecteurs de la ville de Lausanne
Born in 1989 in Mont-la-Ville, Adrien Gygax studied sociology at the University of Lausanne. He works as a management consultant in companies, particularly in the MSE environment. In 2017, he published Aux noces de nos petites vertus (Le Cherche midi). Se réjouir de la fin (Grasset) is his second novel.
During the last months of his life in a retirement home, a resident who is not yet 80 years old and widowed, keeps a diary in which he recounts his fleeting moments of happiness, his fears, the encounters despite everything, the day-to-day life between life and death. All this with a wisdom inspired by Cicero and Seneca, a gentleness and delicacy without equal.
The meeting takes place on Saturday, March 6th at 11am.
