The wine cellar at Lausanne Palace is full of rare vintage treasures: almost 600 varieties are stacked down here on rows and rows of shelves!
Swiss wines are, of course, kept in the more exclusive section of the cellar and are predominantly from the regions of Lavaux, Vaud, Valais and Geneva.
We source our Burgundy and Bordeaux wines only from the very best vineyards with a long history of impeccable quality.
But, naturally, the Lausanne Palace wine cellar also stocks divine vintages from across the world, e.g. from New Zealand, South Africa, California and Chile.
The wine cellar at Lausanne Palace features a special glass-walled room designed for private aperitifs. An ideal place for connoisseurs and wine enthusiasts to get together. Sitting in pleasantly warm comfort with a view of the nearly 600 varieties of wine, you can’t help but feel inspired by the know-how and the passion of all these winegrowers from around the world.
This unusual space accommodates up to 8 people – please make a reservation. Under the guidance of the Lausanne Palace sommellerie, the lucky participants get to taste our finest wines, complemented with a platter of delicious cold meats and Swiss cheeses.
