Swiss Pâté-Croûte Championship

With the support of Franck Pelux, Chef of La Table, Lausanne Palace once again sets the stage for the Swiss pâté-croûte championship, a celebration of one of gastronomy’s most emblematic specialities, where craftsmanship, precision and creativity meet beneath the Palace’s grand ceilings.
Led by Meilleur Ouvrier de France Chef Fabien Pairon, this new edition marks an important evolution, with a competition now dedicated exclusively to Swiss candidates.
On June 22nd, chefs and artisans from across the country will gather at Lausanne Palace to present their creations before a distinguished jury of twenty renowned chefs and experts, including Damien Facile, Victor Moriez, Danny Khezzar and Christian Segui. The winner will go on to represent Switzerland at the World Pâté-Croûte Championship final in Lyon on November 30th, 2026.
New this year: award the prix du public !
For the first time, Lausanne Palace opens the doors of the championship to the public with the introduction of the the prix du public.
Guests booking through the online ticket office will have the opportunity to experience the competition from within, tasting the candidates’ creations, sharing their favourites and taking part in awarding the the prix du public. An immersive and convivial occasion, offering rare access behind the scenes of the Swiss pâté-croûte championship at Lausanne Palace.
